Dogma in Pink
„I love Italian cycling culture, I ride l’eroica every year, but I also have modern Italian carbon bikes. Let’s give one of them a new look.“
That was the first assignment from Jan, a passionate cyclist who was recovering from a nasty fall at the time.

GIRO
Jan wanted to incorporate the color pink into the design to pay homage to the Giro d’Italia, of which he is an avid fan. The bike’s original color scheme was B.O.B.—a blend of glossy black and matte black. From this, the concept of the “Shifted Design” was born. While the layout of the graphic elements remained unchanged, all the glossy segments were shifted a few millimeters, subtly revealing the pink background beneath — a symbolic unveiling of the true Italian racing essence of the Pinarello Dogma.
134/94
Alongside family drawings and quotes celebrating Italian heritage, the design pays tribute to Jan’s friend Luboš Lom — who took everyone’s breath away with his extraordinary performance in the Hell of the North in 1994, spending 134 kilometers alone in solo breakaway.
